The Raiders don’t have the flashiest of receivers. No they don’t have Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson, but they do have a plethora of young receivers that are ready to make names for themselves.
The one wide receiver who is really making their name heard through out camp is Rod Streater. Entering his second year in the league and with the Raiders, he will have much more of a role on the offense with Darius Heyward-Bey out of the picture. Also, many project him to be a breakout player this season for the Raiders.
He is a guy trying to make a name for himself, but one guy who has somewhat already made a name for himself is Denarius Moore. We all know what Moore is capable of with his eye-opening athleticism and speed. He is expected to be the number one guy at wide out for the Raiders this season.
We also cannot forget about the other young guys like Jacoby Ford and Juron Criner, both who are going to be major factors on the Raiders offense this season.
This may not be the most appealing wide receiver corp in the league, but let’s see what these guys can all do with Matt Flynn under center this season.
